just saw my first blind spot mirror on another Taco. Pretty cool! Wish I got those, but...

But if that was you in the white sport on Hwy 62 out of Joshua Tree tonight with the white OR making your yellow mirror sensor light blink on and off a bunch of times, I’m sorry, but that was kinda fun! :)

If it was bugging him he could have turned it off!

Blind Spot Monitor is worthless to me. Going into it I thought it would be nice but it's not something I ever check while driving. Cars don't generally get in my blind spot without me knowing and checking the light is not sufficient evidence for me to make a move into blind spot territory. That being said the Rear Cross Traffic Alert is pretty sweet and I do use it. It picks people up from a long way and can alert you in situations where it's physically impossible for you to see a car coming.

I've seen it functioning on many cars for many years now. It gives me a small bit of comfort as a rider since it seems to work accurately on everything that I have passed. Definitely a good feature for folks that don't drive and pay attention (I'm hoping that little light in their mirror might be seen in their peripheral vision before sliding left or right without a turn signal).

BSM seems like a cool feature but pretty useless in a practical sense. I spend more time messing with people by turning the light on and off.

If anything the light on their mirror lets me know I'm in their blindspot.

I think a more practical light would be something that lets me know when I'm in someone elses blind spot versus when someone is in mine.

I never notice the lights except at night. Blind spot mirrors would serve me better, but I don't want to spend $100 on the Rav4 ones.

Well, if I down in your neck of the woods I'm switching it off just in case you are lurking the highways and byways.
