If he had Crawl Control, wouldn't that imply he had a rear locker as well? Didn't look like they ever engaged the locker.

Does crawl control even work in reverse?

And videos like this piss me off. Go tear up your own yard being a dick. Don't do it where the public has to pay with tax dollars to fix your stupidity.

I can always spot the "rental jeeps" out on the trails here in Colorado they are the dirtiest in comparison to everyone else's personal vehicle.

The Bro' trucks remind me of east Texas not enough decals/wrapped or stanced out or undercarriage LED lights tho'.

They were hella deep in the wilderness bro. There were trees. And dirt and stuff. Didn't you see how far away that freeway was?

Just gonna leave this right here...

Stock tires and all, haven't begun the build yet...

Having read a bunch here and elsewhere, and having played in the mud quite a bit with my stock '20 OR, neither the CC or locker are going to make much difference when it comes to traction in mud. CC might conceivably help if you engage before entering the mud, but it's not going to help after getting stuck. Toyota's computerized traction control is badass and is your best friend on slick mediums; CC has been most helpful to me on inclines/declines. Shouldn't need the locker at all until you're doing rock crawling.

The reason you know it was off road is because you could see the road at all times. Otherwise they would have been overlanding.

Good for them for trying. I could think of tons of better places to get the truck “dirty”, but at least nobody can accuse them of being mall crawlers. It was cringeworthy though.
