Has anyone driven the new Supra ?? I’m interested just for opinions , even though I’m not wanting to buy one. PLEASE do not comment that it is a rebadged BMW, because it isn’t. Spare me the time of showing that it’s not a rebadged car with actual facts and not opinion. I just want to hear any driving thoughts of any who have driven one.

Supras were cool for a few days before YouTubers put body kits on them and made the exhaust annoying loud and sat in parking lots revving them.

Seen one at the local dealer, nice looking car. It was a matte gunmetal colour. Lots of $$$$$ $69,000 MSRP I think roughly.

Not sure on the percentage, but the car is over 50% BMW. The suspension, brakes, engine, trans, modules, electrical mostly BMW...what else did the OP want to hear?

Oh and they are sweet, I would buy one if I didn't need baby mobiles.

If anyone ownes a BMW they will recognize this screen and the software is exactly the same.

Fugly…. Big disappointment, compared to previous gen Supra. Didn't care for it, driving was nothing special.

I don't care if the body/suspension design was shared with BMW. But once the electrical system, transmission, and engine are BMW why the hell would you even put the Toyota Supra name on it.

So no one here is answering the OP, but the title for this thread is silly too, so whatever. The new Supra is fine. Don’t bump your head getting in because the sill is pretty low, especially since guys on this forum have rawdog legs from getting into their lifted Tacomas.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
it may not be completely a BMW, but it's definitely not a turd gen tacoma (moved to general automotive).

I’ll post a good informative video for you that shows the truth to the 2 companies working together on the car, but only for a certain amount of design before they completely parted ways. Germany for instance has strict laws on how much they can work on projects with foreign countries.

Slower? All those performance figures are small fractions of a second apart, if not identical. AND the car is $15k cheaper? Sign me up. Because of what it is (and what the Z4 isn't), there's already a budding aftermarket for the Supra.
