I'm looking at the times, not the hp....
The Supra is the right hand column

They even made it hideous like a BMW. BMW engines sound like shit, especially when you rev them, seriously why would anyone want a rebadged Z4? The new Supra is just another historical disappointment like the Hummer H2, The Cooper Mini remake, Mk4 VW GTI, and everything "Jeep" produced after the XJ.

Are we REALLY splitting hairs over 0.1 seconds here? Let it go brah. That's bumper-to-bumper across the finish line in a drag race. If you ever find yourself in a drag race between a stock 2020 Supra and a stock 2020 BMW X4 then we'll talk.

Why are you talking about the x4?
    Slower is slower is slower.
Also, some of those times at more than a tenth of a second apart. The badged BMW is about 3 car lengths faster in some aspects, that's a lot.

Why is math so hard for some people?

Maaan you don't exactly have the automotive world on your side lol. But everyone's entitled to their opinion. It'd be worse if they dropped the Tacoma 3.5 in there, no?:stirthepot:

Typo, but I think you know that. Yes some of them are "a few tenths" but your attention to them was worth pointing out.

Why because it ruins the point you were trying to make?
And I had no clue you weren't talking about the X4, which is a BMW model, I'm not a woman so I don't pretend to read minds.

There's a guy with a new M5 that lives a few houses from me. He'll drive it slowly down the street in first gear timing it so it'll pop as the old lady walking by has to turn and look. From that point on, I can't take anyone driving a BMW seriously anymore... It's literally the stupidest thing I've ever seen anyone do.

I don't see how it ruins the point I'm trying to make, that you're obsessing with differences that are mere fractions of a second and unless you put the two cars head-to-head on a dragstrip, would not matter. It takes a factory Supra 0.1 seconds longer to run a quarter mile, who cares? And I figured you would know becaaaaaause this entire thread is literally about the Z4 and the X and Z keys are next to each other, and maybe with an ounce of intuition.... Know what I've got better things to do with my lunch break.

Fractions of a second can be a life time when it comes to these times, I'm sorry the badged bmw is faster than the rebadged bmw, but I didn't make it so don't get mad at me.

I actually like the looks ok, but not the complexity, nor the anticipated maintenance costs.

I'd much rather spend the kind of money they are getting on a v8 Miata conversion from Flyin Miata.

Does the BMW Supra play engine noises on the cars speakers like other BMW's?

Original Supras where cool because with a few mods, you could easily get 1000+hp out of them. Until the new one surpasses that, it will always be inferior.
