No doubt. I imagine you gotta make sure the technician doesn’t get sucked into the scoop.

I even went one step further and added a lower intake to suck up cold air.

Oof! I see that becoming a huge debate and the cause of many Friday threads. For me, I'd say that the cheese grater grille causes the least aerodynamic disturbance. So, both the skewps will see laminar airflow.

The 2018 and Bro grilles will trip the airflow. So, the Tundra skewp will be less effective.

    :rofl::rofl: :thumbsup:

I just read 10 pages about a non-functional hood "skewp". And my truck doesn't have one since I have an OR.
Does anyone know a counselor who can help with this issue?

Well I don't want to swap.
This real problem is that I was glad not to have a "skewp" because once the dealer told me it had no function and I saw that it partially blocks even more of the front of the truck's view (not to mention I was drawn to the features of the OR over the Sport package)...yet I still chose to to read that 10 page thread. But after reading that thread I've come to the conclusion based on the main function of the skewp that I must be more attracted to women to value function over form.

So, you don't need a counselor then?

Some bits just happen to be there if I wanted a V6, MT, ACLB in the US market.

    I wouldn't say they're non-functional, they make a neat place to fit a lightbar.

Front visibility in these trucks sucks, especially Offroad. Choosing a line or avoiding obstacles is challenging with the long hood and low seating position. The Skewp just makes a bad situation worse.

Toyota knows this, which is why no Scewp on the Off Road. Skewp is on Pro, because max Bro is needed...

On steep climbs, it does affect visibility. It has yet to be a true cause of any trouble.

It is odd that they didn't carry over the design of the 2nd Gen skewp, or something like it. The fact that they added two 'power domes' in the hood is weird.

At least there is one big positive out there? No hood vibe problems with the skewped hoods. I am glad that they finally fixed the non-skewps on the line also.

A little disappointed that were are no side skewps on this. I was going to add them, but my ancient version of CS5 crashed, I think it's days are done.
Also someone should at least widen the tires.

with a little imagination the black pieces under the headlights are mini-headlight skewps for cooling the headlights for greater lumens.

This may just be my next mod! Remove those pieces, instant LUMEN UPGRADE. Why is Toyota purposefully degrading their headlights like this?
