Lol, oh calm down. I said it funny reason as to why you didn’t want one. It just makes me laugh. You don’t want one because it’s not functional, I totally get it. But visability in a truck that with or without it has visibility problems made me laugh. For the 90% of us who will just use the truck as a daily, it’s a non issue for the most part. My buddy has an off-road, I have a sport. Did it make a difference....meh, sure. A big one? Not really. For all the bashing of the scoop, it sure is funny how many people want to trade for a hood that has one.

well, if you want to drop the panties on the type of girl that is impressed by a skewp, it is a no brainer. I can appreciate it, and why a lot of people want that. For the human race to survive, panties gotta drop. But yeah, since it doesn't perform a real function other than looks and it does decrease already poor vision over that long snout, it was actually a pretty valid reason not to get the panty dropper skewp. But I think perhaps, that we are underthinking this one, and should continue discourse for at least 10 more pages. Any other angles pop out at you?

There is a thread with 150+ pages and 3000+ posts where people are trying to trade for a hood with a scoop. Guess the visibility issue doesn’t bother most ;)

Obviously you are asking because you know the function of the scoop is for looks
I think you know all the answers to these questions already, like “It’s either real or no change” well the factory hood scoop although it’s real it’s not real it that it functions like a real hood scoop but it’s a real factory hood scoop. So swapping out a factory flat hood with a scoop does nothing for performance but you knew that already you were thinking about adding it for looks which is fine , I like the way it looks also. The sole purpose of the scoop is for looks to give it a more aggressive look. What’s the function of a certain color paint ? What’s the function of fancy black wheels ? What’s the function of a TRD logo badge ? It’s all looks and trying to project a certain image overall.

Will changing out the stand front grill to a TRD Pro grill improve the low end torque of my truck? Looking to address the shiftiness of the automatic transmission, wondering if this will help, i.e. is it a cost effective upgrade, foot pounds of torque to dollar.

Can you product a diagram that shows vision angle depending on driver height? This should proof that reported vision loss due to snout length + skewp height is a complete myth.
