Boy, this gets weird. The issue with the OEM LED harness is it either supplies current to the DRL, or to the turn signal. Since the headlights ignore the DRL signal when the turn signal is on, I just made them so the DRL signal would drop off with the turn signal. There is a way to get a constant DRL, and that is how I do it with the SR to TRD halogen harnesses. On those, I have diodes on the DRL circuit, and tie both sides together. This allows one side to power both DRL lights if the other side has the turn signal active. This can be done on the OEM LED harness as well, but I don’t build it into them usually. Let me think on this one. There might be a way to field modify them to accomplish this….
If you went with the regular set up for tapping DRL and Park, the back lights would turn off when the DRL is on, park is off, and turn signal is activated. Just FYI. You could a tap to the turn signal and have them flash instead of turning off during that time though.

Do you know the halogen sidemarker behavior? That would be on for parking light and beyond right, but not DRL? I may buy a 195 connector and tie it directly there.

Yes. Not a bad plan at all and a good use of your stuff. I can send you a plug and play harness for that or you could crimp an 090II male on the backlight wire and push it in to the corresponding spot on the sidemarker cap after you remove the black plug.
