Lol Am I the only one reading this thinking you all sound like a bunch of jealous children?

That truck is awesome. Who cares about the dude. 67k? Still cheaper than alot of 4x4 camper vans/overland rigs that are not even close to as capable.

Maybe I'm crazy but I bet he will get close to that.

Or he will sell it for parts and return it to stock. Camper alone is 12k...

Lol BTW I think some of the pics look ridiculous too, but why sit here and judge, be a drama queen, gossip, bad mouth, etc. Anyway. Wheel on.

Peak economic bubble droppings. Expect to see more of this stuff in the coming year, but at greatly reduced prices. Wait the stock market is the economy.

Anyone stacking cash right now will be able to pickup that house and p-car cheap along with the former owners wife. When people go broke you win.

With how bad the traffic is, highway miles don't mean jack in SoCal.

I doubt he'd get $67k. It's likely not going to sell for dirt cheap, but it's a small market item.

Built 3 year old Tacoma or new Ford Raptor? I'm going with Ford Raptor. I can get a note and not get laughed out of a bank

    None....yet.
$20k invested....$67k price tag... I'm no mathematician, but something literally doesn't add up. And if you're really into this stuff, you would probably know how to spell most of your upgrades.

He seems to have enjoyed the roads he travels.
I'm jealous of his travels, but not envious of his financial investment.

Looks like this guy figured glamping wasnt his thing. Having spent a week with what i could carry in a hiking pack i think over-landing is a bit over the top.

He never said 20k invested in the truck. His suspension alone cost 20k. That's sounds about right. Pluse 12k for the camper topper (toppers don't lose value much even when they are used, this one is basically not) that alone is 32k... Then add all the dollar marked items below to that... Comes to 48,420... You can then add current blue book/nada value to the truck, and his price sounds about right... That truck STOCK is worth more than 21,580 for sure. That excludes all labor and the extra stuff he starts to list at the bottom but he stops... Truth is this is not a bad deal and people are jealous of the money this guy can spend. I mean, I am too. That's a sweet truck, but again... This thread is a joke in and of itself. Lol All my opinion only, obviously I'm in the minority on this one.

I am with you on that. After those mods... Man, our trucks can tow a decent amount, I'd rather get a ~12-20k 5000# toy hauler or camping trailer, park it at the base of the trail, than off-road to my heart's desire, and then come back to camp and be COMFORTABLE. Just me.

No that was all extrapolated from the post on *craigslist. I can read. My truck? I attached a picture below.

I don't make that kind of coin. I'm enlisted USAF, with a New Mexico education It ain't great but it works.

Although, I did some how get into Avionics. I also just bought a pretty baller lift IMO Right now it's on spacers but the new setup is in the mail. Once it gets here to Germany I'll be starting a build thread. Also, if you'd like to see a couple of my older rigs (my last JKU) I'm on Instagram @4x4erik. (Had to throw that in here for all the IG blogger haters in here above ^^) lol

Thats the page I tracked my last build. The rest I've just got ol' pictures, but the @4x4erik thing will help to track the rest of them forever most likely. I enjoy it.

I agree with you. I would buy a Ford Raptor too. Although, I disagree with the correlation... No one shopping for a built overland rig (be it a 4x4 Mercedes van, or whatever) is looking at a stock Ford Raptor UNLESS they plan on building it themselves... And a brand buinew Raptor already built for overlanding is not 70k... it's apples to oranges really.
