Not knowing anything about it, was she wearing a uniform during the videos? If not then I would say its in her favor. Did she use a military email, system or anything else linked to the military to distribute? Was she on duty time when she did it?
If no to all of these then I dont really see how she did anything legally wrong.

With all that said, do I agree with her? Fuck no. I'm a very traditional individual. However, as a citizen and patriot that believes in the constituion and watching our rights slowly get chipped away at over the years, I am on her side because it's her freedom to do what she wants with her body, whether any of us agree with her or not.

you actually can’t burn or cut your fingerprints off. Aside from wives tails, not one documented case of anyone successfully doing it. Oh and foot and ear prints are also a thing now. Won’t help solve a crime but if you are processed or a registering offender, no hands won’t safe you.

 

Actually, there was one show where they caught a guy because he took his socks of and left a bloody footprint. Got him that way. I was all "WTAF???!!!" on that one.

I dont think theres a perfect murder out there, just ones that are missing evidence...When I was Stationed in TX there was a tv news anchor lady got killed in her apartment, no evidence--suspects--etc. BUT somehow I ended up hearing a conversation from some co-workers said it was probably her boyfriend as she was "in" to getting choked during sex. They never did solve the case as far as i know.

Think about her effectiveness as a military professional in any unit she's ever in from now forward. No matter what she does, she'll always be "porn girl." Any other accomplishments or capabilities notwithstanding, all she will be considered capable of is getting fucked for money. There will be three camps - those who want to get in it, those who want her crucified for besmirching their corps, and those who want her as far away from them as will make their wives happy. She's a whore to all now - whether it's true or not - and will never get a fair shake anywhere she goes.

She was a willing and instigating participant in this (for money), and that has tremendous bearing in the court's decision (if it gets that far). But I agree that this isn't an easy cut-and-dry decision for the court, unlike prostitution (or just fucking everyone for free). Her defense would rely on what explicit provisions there are against it, and what was explicitly explained to her as a"prohibited profession." As a reservist, she isn't getting a livable income from the corps and has to survive doing something when she's not at drill. This is legal employment n California. It's a multi-billion dollar industry. Girlfriend is just trying to make rent and stay fed.

I think it besmirches the corp and for that there is no forgiveness. HOWEVER!!!! My like for freedom sometimes goes against what I want. Do I want the corp to suffer face? Hell no. Things are even grayer.

Representatives from the Marine Forces Reserve have not responded to inquiries from Marine Corps Times as to whether her page violated any orders or policies.

But a representative of the Marine Corps said that by distributing the content for free, without the Marine’s consent, the active-duty Marines who shared her photos may be violating a Marine Corps order against wrongful distribution or broadcasting of intimate images, and the incident may trigger a command investigation.

The Marine compared the stealing and sharing of her photos and videos to the Marines United scandal.


“Broadcasting intimate images has been a shamefully huge issue in the Marine Corps over the last few years,” the Marine said in an email to Marine Corps Times Tuesday. “Since the MU scandal and Marines signing the page 11, you would think they would learn, but they haven’t and this MUST be something that is no longer tolerated in The Corps.”

The Marine said she started selling the pictures and videos to take care of her son.

“I’m a single mom and full time student so I was doing what I could to pay the bills,” the Marine said to Marine Corps Times.

“It doesn’t make sense for me to get a night job because I already pay for his school during the day, and then I’d have to pay for night care and which would just be my whole pay check anyway,” she added.
