    Not necessarily. A friend of mine recently remarried a divorcee with two teenage boys. They were little pricks at first, but once they realized Tom was an actual man (and not whatever kind of shit stain their sperm donor of a biological father is) they’ve become quite the family unit.

    Apparently, just showing up and carrying through on promises (or threats) goes a long way.

    Some of these kids just need a man around to teach them how a man is supposed to behave.
