    We went back into Saudi in ‘92 to rebuild the Air Operations Center (basement of RSAF) with a modern C4I system, and I got to visit a number of remote sites setting terminals up. Visited the Nimitz, Somalia, and spent a week in Bahrain. Had to get put up in the Hilton because Navy housing didn’t meet Air Force standards. In fact, what we had junior enlisted (like me at the time) living in, the Navy had company-grade officers.

    When they found out I was at the Hilton (with the international flight attendants) they were pissed.

    We're all entitled to the same quality of lodging. Stars or stripes or whatever. Shit, good O's make sure their peeps eat before they do. We're all entitled to the same food.

    I mean you wanna min-max the game because you're on TDY orders and the onbase / gov provided peeps aren't up to snuff? Sure. If they're not 'up to snuff' because they're treating you like you're lower enlisted and need to sleep in a cot when their Os' are in housing? <expletive deleted> those guys.
