    what are ya'll doing for New Year's?

    I'm making a ton of spaghetti sauce. ground chuck, Italian sausage, diced roasted tomatoes, roasted Friarelli peppers, red wine, brown sugar, sauteed onions, garlic, oregano, a little basil. for the last hour I'll add mushrooms, and handmade meatballs. garlic is roasting right now, then I'll sautee it and run it through a food processor and mix it with butter. then that'll get smeared over toasted Italian bread. my wife is baking the bread, because I'm shit at baking.
    my oldest son is making raspberry gelato. the younger two boys are finishing a snow fort
    it's not even noon yet and we're already through a half-gallon of wine.
    it's gonna be a good day.
