    Best thing about those was that the tongue went all the way up. After I got my Corcorans I still wore those for fishing. You could mink oil them and they’d be watertight.

    Good boots for first issue.

    Only time in my entire life of almost 61 year that I ever had foot/achilles tendon issues was wearing that d**m boot style, I hobbled around for months in basic with those POS and I wear the newer brown Mil combat boots to work today as I have for the past few decades.
