Hated those. I'm not as "beefy" as some, they cut into my shoulders and hip bones like a mother fucker.

 

The old #4 that not even the tiny Tabasco bottle couldn’t salvage.

The stray cats in Riyadh would eat anything we offered them except the old #4.

 

Just gotta mash it up with the hashbrowns, salt, pepper and Tabasco and choke it down as best you can.

 

Next you'll be complaining about the Corned Beef Trash! One of my personal faves.

 

I never had one of those. The worst I encountered were the dehydrated beef and pork patties.

 

I think the Chicken A La King was my favorite MRE.

 

Cold weather MRE spaghetti with meat sauce. #8. That’s a good one.

 

Those were just Mountain House meals pretty much, not really a fair competition.

 

Did you all ever get the pork links for tray rations? I actually loved those things.

 

LOL, true. We got them the first time training at MWTC and was like WTF is this and why are we just finding out about it.

 

The chicken fajitas was tolerable. Our Company XO had a date with a smoking hot chick one Valentine’s Day and he led her to a candlelight table on the beach and had all the flavors of MRR’s laid out and they set on the beach and prepared them. It was fucking legend!

 

Haha, same place I found about those.

 

Favorite? I hated all of that shit.

 

long ago in the brown bags, meatballs with rice in BBQ sauce, or the spaghetti. maple nut cake with it was awesome.

 

The cheese. On the crackers. Guilty of loving the hell out of it.
