We had one guy, they booted him to SF. I want to say it was after 9/11 but i could be wrong on that. But anyhow i was driving up to gate and dude is at front gate checking ID's, i was like wtf! I said "Sailors(his last name) wth you doing here?" He says checking ID's, i say, "and they gave you a gun??" Hes like "yeah, now let me see your id". I said, "you know who i am!!" And drove on base...the look on his face was priceless. Dude prob wanted to shoot me

 

And could have justified it in the report.....

Or the guys who want to be cops but are smart enough to do it in the most relaxed service branch. It was better back in the day when you had separate security police and security forces but still, way better than being an Army MP.

 

When I was a Sgt I had this Cpl that didn’t drink. Appearantly I got shitfaced out in town one night and called him to come get me. I see him at work the following morning and he was like “hey Sgt, thanks for last night”. I didn’t remember much but felt bad and was like “hey dude, that was my bad. Hope I wasn’t to much of a dick”. He was like “no man, we roll to the gate at 0200, the guard smells booze because you are trashed. He assumes we are both drunk and he asked me where we were coming from. You are sitting in the passenger seat laughing telling him we just came from his moms house and that she wanted us to tell him that he is a complete bitch and always would be. So then we were told to pull to the side where my Cpl endured a complete dui test and vehicle search while I went to sleep in the passenger seat. Lol, my bad bro!
