    It’s ok to be jealous. Even the Air Corps was good enough to get their own department. Marines are just sailors with crayons and bad haircuts.

    I’m just jealous because I don’t even have enough hair left to have a bad haircut.

    Yep, you are right. Proud to be a department of the US Navy. I typically just tell people I was a cook. Then let them tell stories of all the combat and what a badass they are. Then I buy them a beer and thank them for their service. And laugh all the way home.

    I’ve got a few more years until retirement and am really starting to feel the results of my too young super hooah beat up my body days. That shit was a lot of fun 15 years ago but not so much now that I get to feel the results daily.
