    For the Cosco Busan spill we stayed for months at the Mariott at Fisherman's wharf. now that was a glorious ton of hotel points heh.

    Deepwater Horizon, it was either (vacation rental) boathouses or fishing camps. Got the latter so full kitchen and auth'd rental car so that wasn't too bad either.

    Onbase stuff like Yorktown is just unaccompanied B's though, 2 to a room so it's not that bad, but nothing to write home about.

    it's gonna sound weird, and most of you probably haven't heard of it

    egg-bread. egg-bread in Seoul.

    these little old ladies would make them in some of the busier areas and they're amazing

    they looked at me weird when I'd buy six or eight and just sit down on the curb and eat breakfast, and I didn't care.

    it's basically being able to buy and eat an entire happy childhood
