Disclosure: first truck; no experience with fuse blocks

Apparently I can’t stop trying to buy accessories for my truck (2021 TRD Sport) and since I’m sure the wiring is going to start accumulating fast, I figured I could install a fuse block. I’ve seen some with brackets built that hold the fuse block and a breaker. Couple questions:

    1. Is a breaker needed? I’m not opposed to spending the extra money to do things right, but wasn’t sure if it was needed
    2. Has anyone ever seen/used a fuse block to run their power for an amplifier (8 gauge wire)
    3. Any input on a fuse block tray/bracket to keep things neat and simple? I checked the interwebs but didn’t find much.
    4. Anyone know of an “all in one kit” that’s in stock with the bracket, fuse block, breaker, positive and negative leads?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. I tried searching around but didn’t find much. Plus, I find it’s always best to ask people with experience versus trying to piece everything together myself and ending up with some crappy.

I’d prefer a fuse block bracket that mounts directly behind the factory fuse case. I’d rather keep all of that accessible if needed.

I saw the Overland Equipped bracket but can’t find it in stock anywhere.

    Thanks in advance!

Bump. Hoping to get some info. I did some research and found out some good info but had a couple questions I was hoping someone knowledgeable could help me with.

The post above is something I had a question about. This is using the ch4x4 switches (below); does this setup mean that the switches would always be “hot”? Meaning anything they control can be turns on with the truck off?

If that is correct, if I wanted to make the switches hot only when the truck was on, would I just tap all of the green wires from the switch harnesses into a switched fuse (inside the cab)? If so, what size fuse? From what I am understanding, using relays keeps the draw low on the switches themselves, so the Andrade should be fairly low?

Sorry, I’m a complete newb at this and just trying to make sure I fully understand.
