I have a miniature XM radio installed in the compartment on top of the cab, need to find the right +12V power to run it so that it behaves like the oem radio re. ignition switch position. Truck is an '07 extra cab, 4l with 6sp manual, TRD Sport trim. Any help with where to connect to fuse block will be appreciated! The XM radio originally had a plug in lighter connection, tired of it disconnecting the power every time something vibrates. I took the guts out of the power plug, mounted in a small box, mounted down by the fuse block...now to get a proper hard connection.
Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Do you own a multi-meter? Simply checking the state of specific fuses in the fuse box when the ignition is at various positions is the easiest way to tie into the circuit you want with something like and add-a-fuse.

Someone else may have answer with more specifics one which fuses you could potentially use, but that's always how I find a proper circuit.

Get an “add a fuse” kit to tie in to the outlet at fuse box

I can do that, was hoping to avoid the back pain of being contorted under the dash for unknown time...old bones don't like it.

The ACC Fuse (7.5A) is the only one that is gona be hot in Accessory and Run, the rest of the ones below are hot in Run and Start.
