    As of now, I have a 2001 ext 4 banger with a ~2.5" lift.

Front - 5100s with stock coils set at highest clip
Rear - 5100s with wheelersoffroad 1.5" progressive AAL
Wheels - Black 15x8 Pro Comp Steelies
    Tires - 33x12.50x15 BFG AT KO2s

I have done the pinch weld mod with a grinder as well as trimming on some of the plastic around it, but I still have a considerable amount of rubbing when turning sharp and/or going over inclines.

Also, my rear still sits higher than my front and I was looking for more of a level look. I'll get measurements from the ground soon.

So, I've been trying to come up with some ways to fix everything (as much as I can with my relatively low budget. So know Kings or anything for me) I've thought about the option to replace my stock coils with OME coils (881/882 whichever will give me a little more lift and I know the 882s are meant for heavier front ends and whatnot but maybe it would work for me) and set the 5100s to the lowest setting. However, what would I do if I ended up raising the front end too much?!?!

Also, I was maybe thinking about getting some wheel spacers to make my stance a little wider. I'll take pictures of my current stance another day when it's not raining.

I'm also gonna add an 18" Magnaflow soon.

So, any opinions or advice would help greatly. Also any other options would be greatly appreciated.

Are you rubbing on the frame?

    I have a similar setup.
    • 285/75-16 on 2nd gen OEM steel rims
    • 1.5" spacers
    • 5100s w/Eibach coils (620#) on the middle setting
    • ARB front bumper w/10K winch
The Eibachs give you about 1.5" on the lowest setting and about 3" on the middle. A little stiff without the extra weight of a bumper and and winch, but they soften up a bit after a while. The ride never bothered me before I got the bumper and winch.

According to Headstrong Offroad's web site, the 881 and 882 have the same 500# spring rate, but the 882 is taller. The 883 is 590#.

This is just me, but I'd only get spacers to achieve an appropriate offset, not to achieve a certain "stance." I had no choice with my setup.

Spacers could potentially fix your rubbing issues if you still have them after pinch weld mod. I have spacers and have 0 complaints about them.

    I'm all about Spydertrax [sp]...

It doesn't rub on the frame but I was also wondering if spacers would make the rubbing on the pinch weld better or worse. Any pics of your truck?

My first thought is maybe they would help. It's the edge of the tire that hits it when turning. So, if you use a spacer to move the tire outward 1.5", you're effectively moving the contacting edge out also. My logic could be failing me here though.

    A couple pics.

Right after bumper install (no winch).

    After UCA and coil install.
