before you buy a tacoma research!

while most folks here seem to be happy with their trucks :confused:please research before you buy. there is a small percent that have major defects that toyota refuses to address (deemed "normal" operation) as of yet. others had major defects that are just now being fixed with TSB's after (deemed "normal" operation) untold hours of heartache. still other,a majority, had to spend hour after hour jumping through hoops just to get a known defect corrected even after the TSB was announced.
get all TSB's done and check for all known defects (deemed "normal" operation) before you take delivery of your truck.

Hmmm. What "major defects" are you claiming Toyota is refusing to fix?

    see 95-00 rust recall

what other car company would pay 150% of blue book if the frame was rotting from the inside out?

It's all in my head at the moment...
He had a problem or two, probably wasn't very diplomatic with his presentation of said problems and expects Toyota to kiss his ass and give him a new truck without question. Funny thing is if he is sooooooooo unhappy with his current truck and the response that Toyota hasn't given him, why would you want another Toyota product?

We've danced this dance before, the post gets no reply so he cracks open another hoping to catch members that aren't familiar with his tale of whoa.

If you don't do research for ANYTHING you invest $15-$30k in you deserve whatever you get for being that ignorant.

Between google, forums, dealers, manufacturer's websites, magazine reviews, and all the other info online there's no excuse for buying a vehicle without knowing what's going on unless you're a complete idiot or too lazy to bother searching. Unless of course you're buying the first make of a model, or from a new company that hasn't been around long enough for review. However, this isn't the case since you apparently have a 2006 Tacoma. (Meaning 2001-2004 style, and 2005's came long before you got yours.)

You obviously found this site so there's no reason you couldn't have found www.toyotanation.com, , www.yotatech.com, www.customtacos.com or any other site before purchasing. Quite your crying and deal with it.

well as the price discounts get steeper..0% and thousands off of retail. Our current "old" trucks are losing value.

But on a side note, there is always some problems with vehicles. Its always the not me sorta thing, maybe the guy has a gripe whatever its just not the right place to try and gain steam. Take it up with your local small claims court.
