    Hello there,

I'm going to be purchasing a new truck in about a year and want some advice on what to get. I was initially thinking full size Pickup but now I'm thinking Tacoma. I live in north L.A. County, so a smaller truck with better fuel economy is ideal. However, I pull a 2,400 lb. tent trailer and I have some concerns about bed size. I'm not sure I like the look of the long bed, but not sure if the shorty will work. I'd like to hear opinions! Here are my questions:

Short bed vs. long bed suggestions?

Any info on whether or not Toyota will have Radiant Red available on future models?

I see conflicting info on what the Tacoma can pull. I estimate about 3,500-4,000 pounds or so weight when I camp (includes passengers weight). What's everyone's experience?

I'm an offloading noob. I want to lift the Taco, maybe higher than 3". I've been searching threads but don't fully understand what people are talking about. I've heard you have to be careful with wheel and coil spacers. What's the general advice on the best way to lift?

Thanks for all advice! If I think of anything else I'll post.

    Pete
