So I drive a 2003 Chevy Silverado with 250,000 miles on it . In the next 6-12 months im going to get a 2005 Toyota Tacoma v6 (probably 2 door) and need some help on what I should put in it. My friend has a trd supercharged tacoma and I love it so that is the main reason for my choice of truck in the future. Heres some parts that I well eventually probably buy. My question is which one should I get first? And how much is it going to run me (want to keep it under $18,000-20,000 total)?

    Parts:
    1. Trd Supercharger or STS Turbocharger (is this cheaper? I believe it comes with a better fuel pump so no lag in fuel)
    2. Doug Thorley "pipe bomb" Y-pipe
    3. Doug Thorley Headers
    4. Turbo Muffler from URD
    5. APR 7th Injector Kit
    6. URD Cold Air Intake
    7. 2.7" High boost pulley for trd s/c (What does this do)
    8. Transmission Cooler
    9. APR X-one Engine Controller
    10. IPT Valve Body Upgrade (do I need this if I get the APR Engine Controller?)

Now I know all this would be expensive and im sure I cant afford all of it so that why I come to you guys for guidance. What are the main parts I should get first?

I drive a 98 tacoma so you would have to ask somebody with a 2nd gen tacoma about which upgrades yeild the most benifit.

I would do the full exhaust and transmission upgrades first. Then most of the other stuff comes at the same time as the supercharger setup.

So would the IPT Valve Body upgrade be a good choice? Or if I bought the X-one Engine Controller would it fix the transmission shifting like the ipt vb upgrade? My friend told me the engine controller fixes the shifting and fuel delivery.

i wouldnt go with the URD intake, some ppl complain about water getting thru the filter because of its location. If you go with a supercharger, maybe get a custom 3" exhaust done by a shop :notsure:
