    2016 Tacoma TRD Off Road
    Hello world,

I have a 2016 TRD off road. Looking to do some upgrades, and had various questions for the community:

    1. I am looking to trade/sell my current ARE TW cap for an ARE overland cap. Any ideas on the best route to sell my current cap? I was thinking about here on TW - buy/trade/sell, but figured I would ask to see if anyone had any better recommendations.
    2. I logged into my toyota account for the first time to check on the specs of my truck, and I saw that there is a recall for 2011-2017 Tacomas regarding frame rusting for those who live in colder climates that use salt on the roads. This pertains to me, and I was wondering if anyone has had experience with brining their truck to the dealer for this issue. I don't have a lot of rust underneath, but there was definitely some when I bought it. I have since had it rustproofed underneath, but before my annual re spray you can see some of the rust peek back out. I was thinking about bringing it into the dealer before I have it re-sprayed to see if I would qualify for the recall service.
    3. Eventually I would like to add some larger tires to my truck. It currently has the stock tires on it. What tire size does everyone recommend? I don't want to go too big, but I feel like the stock tires look a bit small, and I see other tacomas on the road with slightly larger tires that look like they fit the truck much better. I don't do too much off-roading aside from hunting season where I ocassionally have to drive through some mud/snow/grass.
Thank you in advance for the information and support!

I originally went up to 265 70 17 tires, but I also upgraded the rims that had -1 offset. No rubbing or anything, but I don't do any major off-roading. I have recently added a 3/2 lift for a better stance...

I just bought a 2017 TRD OR DCSB that came with Goodyear wranglers 265/70/16, I put on B F Goodrich KO2s 265/75/16 no rubbing.

My truck only shows a recall for leaking high brake light. Can you tell me more about the rust recall?

When I searched my VIN on Toyota website, it showed me all recalls for my truck. It was listed there.

My theory is you put in the wrong VIN from a 2nd gen you used to own. Wrong auto fill choice.
