    ^ Thanks guys!

So after MUCH research and deliberation i have decided to go to Treadwright.com for my tire needs.

Got myself a set of 265/75/16 TreadWright Wardens load range E and asked for the BF Goodrich Casings with White Letters. Total shipped was $530.58 which IMO cant be beat.

    More Info Here

This way, once they are on, ill spray my stock wheels black and use the extra money on some Sliders! (I originally wanted to get an M/T or A/T with a rim for around 1K)

I think this is the most constructive direction. "Function Over Form" if you will.

    Now....which sliders to get...research time. :)

Well the sliders are here...However, no hardware. Contacted 4xInnovations to see how they can help. Hope they respond soon. I want to get cracking on the install as soon as i can.

So a small initial review of Treadwrite Wardens.

    first of all...there ON :)

Got the tires on yesterday and noticed a wobble on the tread on one of the tires. The casing is straight but the tread has a wobble and you can see it at low speeds with a mirror on the tire. I filled out the warranty form on the treadwright website late last night and this morning they are already shipping me a new tire. Thats some good service!

The ride is a little firmer but quiet. I have yet to play with pressures, but i have a feeling the shop put in too much pressure. We will see. So far so good. at 108 per tire...already exceeded my expectations.

NEXT...install my freshly painted sliders :)

Alright so this week i marked three big tasks COMPLETE. So here is how she sits now:

    • Got the TreadWright Wardens re-balanced. Now they ride like glass. Smooth as buttah!
    • Primed, painted & installed the 4xInnovations Rock Sliders
    • Finished the install portion of my 12" subwoofer enclosure & amp install

Now i need to get a Line Out Converter to finish things up.

...And i haven't even done an oil change yet. It's only been 2500 miles since i got it! haha :)

    Little update:

Got a Scosche Line Out converter so i went ahead and tuned the Sub + Amp. Then found an awesome app called EQu for the iPhone/iPod that gives you an amazing equalizer and lets you choose custom colors to match the interior. With the stock HU set at 0s, this App made a huge difference! But now that the sub was in and im listening to my tunes much louder, the door cards are rattling.

Went to HomeDepot and picked up some sticky insulation for the doors for $16 for roll.

2 Rolls did 4 doors and left about 3/4s of a roll still. Im planning on using that on the section behind the rear seats.

    Conclusion:
NO MORE RATTLES. At all! Which is great. Even with the stock headunit (which i will be replacing) and the stock speakers, it already sounds MUCH better. Most importantly it doesn't seem to distort sounds when i crank it up and with the help of the EQu app, i really got everything dialed in to sound significantly better.

HIGHLY suggest looking into this cheap mod. I guess next step is to take a video, but they dont translate sound that well...

Thats what i thought too. The other day i was doing an oil change and when i was looking around while the oil was draining, i spotted rubbing on both sides. Black paint rubbed off.
