Yes i have a 1/4" taco lean spacer on the driver side. It came with my kit from headstrong.

Im definitely ready to go! I still need to pick up a few camping items...
I want to get a power inverter, some dry storage containers (been looking at the plano sportsman boxes), and a couple other things i can not seem to think of right now...

Should i buy one of these and turn it into a water storage container?? I am thinking I could mount it on the underside of my bedrack...

That maybe possible, but the rods would have to be less than 5 ft and break down. Also not sure if i could leave the reel on the rod, maybe a small bait caster or a closed faced zebco...

It was last weekend. I stopped by there before going to my moms to cut holes in my bumpers.

I also picked up those aluminum bedrail mounts from my buddy in Tyler last weekend. Which is why i was calling you! You could have talked to him about fabricating the items you wanted...

They are pretty big but i think 3-4 short poles maybe the max... But i would still rather use it for water storage, make it pressurized and store non potable water.

Just as an FYI to everyone...

This bed rack deal was a friend of the family hookup, Jeremy at Danger Close does not just let anyone use their equipment for safety & legal reasons. They have asked me to let everyone know that they do have great products for a great price point, but they can not extend my "friend of the family" deal to the public.

The original deal was for a simple bend and cut "AllPro style", however after going for a custom design the price did go up.

I am waiting to get prices from them so that i can post them up on the DFW BS thread for others to know. I also plan to get some photos of their stuff as they also make long travel kits for Tacomas.

Also going to see if i can get some hoops for my front bumper, going to use the front hoop to hang my hammock, also thinking about using the side hoops to fab up some limb risers.

Also an update to my stereo system...

I was trying to upgrade from Sundown SD3 10s to Sundown SA 10s, however with the mounting depth required or the SA's makes fitting them behind the seats a REAL PAIN. You would have to buy longer mounting bolts along with spacers to move the seat backs forward enough that the subs do not hit the back of the seats while playing.

Along with the longer bolts for the seat backs you would also have to move the latch at the top of the seats to allow for the adjustment to the bottom, along with longer bolts and spacers for the seat bottoms so that you can lift them and access the storage beneath them.

I decided that i had spent enough time and effort and money building what i originally had that i would just stick with the original speaker setup.

Heck yea man! I would have done limb risers if I had side hoops, but didn't want to go full hoop.

Damn, that sucks man, that would be a lot of work to undertake for that, not to mention the loss in leg room.

Someday I will get around to doing the stereo upgrade, doing sound deadening and foam either next week or the week after depending on weather. Hope to cover the entire truck in it.

Technically you still can do limb risers.. You will just have to attach them to the center hoop! haha. you may miss some branches that way though.

And yes it would be a lot of work, not to mention that i would want to eventually build another box for them. Just didnt seem like it was worth it at the current time. Would like to spend my money and efforts on a couple other mods.

I think once my truck is paid off and becomes a dedicated trail rig, i am going to rip out the speakers and amps and hook up cheap ones. That way i still have a better than OEM, but if it gets wet and destroyed im only out a couple hundo instead of a couple thousand...
