I might have an extra blank laying around. I'll look for it this weekend.

Up to you, I would just want one to put in its place to be honest so there isn't a hole there.

I know where one is for sure. I'm going to go through all my truck parts this weekend so I'll find the second one.

I thought about trying to get a complete set to sell but the v1 is way above anything I'm willing to pay, even to get a full set.

Yeah I missed the drop on v2 but was able to get it for $30 the week they were delivered. I think I'm only missing v1 and v3 from my set.

So i have been having this problem....

    https://youtu.be/UlIU3gsScT0

Im pretty sure that the gears in my starter have finally gone.
    Im sitting around 99,600 miles.

I called the "stealership" and they tried to rob me for sure...
    Starter: $385.70
    Labor : $260

    Called O'Reilly
Starter: $119.99 with a lifetime warranty
    Labor: $Priceless

Order the started from O'Reilly, will be here in the morning and i will be trying to install this before work at 3pm... So does anyone have any expericence changing the starter on a 2nd gen tacoma?? Youtube has a couple videos on 1st gens and a lot of 4 runners. It looks like its located on the lower passenger side of the engine and it looks like its a pain to get the starter out...

Im about to scour TW for any info i can find.

Starter replaced today at 99,600 miles. I think my remote start may have had something to do with the started going out, but i can not say for sure. Either way i have a new one with a lifetime warranty now!!

Glad you got it taken care of. I busted my uca zerk when I added grease tonight. Have to try and get that fixed by the weekend. I did get my switch pros in and working though I'm not sure its fully wired correctly. ditch lights are also installed and bright AF!

hahaha. yeah it was a little confusing. I think they also added the ability to run 3 30A accessories where the old one only had 1. All others are 15A

I think i read its 4 30A or 45A. I have some learning to do for sure. I'm just glad it's started my worrying clean up. Still have more to do in that aspect though. I really want to get the rats nest of my battery from the oba, winch and HID's if possible.
