FWP Fab Locked Longbed Project & Rubbishery

Well I just hooked mine up for the first time today since I installed the new suspension and bumper on the truck an the lift kit and larger wheels and tires on the camper. i took it for a spin and it pulled very nicely

 

Added some polyfil to my enclosures, and re secured the closures to the deck and rear wall with larger diameter screws and added another for safe measure. Cant really notice a difference. I have a feeling that my truck is about to get a wiring overhaul.

Also drew out a DIY power tray for my engine bay components..

Love the Coopers what size did you get to have to remove the flares?

And yes i had to remove them before i left the shop. Also went home and trimmed a lot with my angle grinder. Im trying to make an appointment to have my caster rolled all the way forward and get a new alignment.

These wheels really poke out so they require more trimming on the 285s.

Yes it does... i went though a lot of BS to get these wheels mounted on the truck also...

Wouldnt exactly say it was all worth it in the end... but glad i have them.

 

Man I love how the color pops in the sun and looks subdued in the dark!

Some blue anodized hardware on the fender flare holes would look sweet I think!

Yeah its hard to tell they are blue at night, but i kinda like that.

 

ordered some hardware to replace the blue and orange clips that hold the stock fender flares on... painted the washers blue to add a little Ric Flair.

 

Interior light upgrade!!! Meso red/white!!!

 

Looks good man! Does the color match as well in person as in the pic? I wish he would figure out how to fit the red/white combo in 3rd gens.

 

Yes they match really well. I noticed that after I installed them. It's a clean look.
