I have an 09 Reg cab. The purple/white wire is missing from the black 13pin connector at the fuse box (13th pin). In its place is a white/black wire.

I've tried tapping into every purple/white wire under the driver's side dash. I've tried tapping the white/black wire of the 13th pin on the black 13pin connector just in case a color-blind robot at the factory replaced the purple/white wire with a white/black wire.

    No dice.

Anyone have this same problem? Maybe it's a reg cab thing?

    thanks.

hmm that could be it. I didn't think about that. I might have to tap one of the ECU wires. Or just skip the vss all together.

    Thanks.
