I bought a g force chip for my 2006 tacoma and I've not seen any improvement to fuel economy at all!
The company claims up to 60 hp gain in performance on some models and specifically does not say how much on the taco. Also they claim 4-7 miles per gallon improvement in fuel economy.
I installed the unit after having to email the tech support for a wiring diagram because the instructions suck so bad! After install I went on a trip and didn't see if I got improved mileage because I was fully loaded with dirt bike and camping gear.
When I got home I fueled up and drove like a little old lady to see if I could get better milage than my 16.5 mpg. Nothing, my light came on at the exact time it always does.
this unit by my standards is a POS! I may try to connect to the wires I initially thought were the ones to hook to but the instructions from tech said otherwise. I used my multi meter to check ohm resistance and I came up with two other wires than what they were telling me.
So anyway, has anyone out there had experience with the gforcechip?
    Thanks for any input.

    wat?
there is no chip out there that will magically give you 60hp AND 4-7mpgs. it's all snake oil. the only "chip" like things that will work on the taco are the unichip, apr x1, and the URD products

You got hosed man....The APR X-1 costs 1200 bones and it doesn't even claim gains like that.

Take that thing off and consider it a lesson learned.

I looked at the G Force website. I see that they offer a money back guarantee. I would take them up on that.

If you really could install a $69 chip to get 4-7 more mpg, Toyota would have done it. It would have affected their fleet mpg.

This is the same sort of thing as power bracelets for balance and other such snake oil. Don't be duped.

    For real. 60 hp?
A supercharger barely gives you that. Consider it a lesson learned.
