One of my employees just ordered one of these: http://www.gfchips.com/toyotapickup.aspx
I had never heard of them before. The website makes some pretty tall claims for these things, but this is a great price. Does anyone know anything about these chips.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
your buddy just got ass-raped i believe. sounds like the same "chips" off ebay. they have a resistor in a box and it essentially makes the ECU get a lower signal for the air temp entering the engine, therefore making the engine throw more gas at it. it will not give anything close to those numbers. if anything, expect some possibly messed up O2 sensors and clogged cats.

    I like the testimonials page:

My 1990 Corrado G60 never performed better. I did all the recommended modifications to my supercharger, and even as far as camshafts.
Nothing gave me the boost like the chip.
