Perfect! I would love a set of the non diamond plate carbide texture black when they become available.

So the weatherman didn't lie for once, it got up to 32 degrees today. Instead of using a heat gun which everyone may not have I wanted to see if a hair dryer would work and it did just fine. gf was at work so just grabbed her dryer and an extension cord. Heated one end of the strip for a minute or so and then worked the edge free with a fingernail under it. Once I got it started just kept the hair dryer on where it was peeling up and pulled slowly. Piece of cake. On the passenger side front I thought it was coming up just fine without the heat and pulled up about a foot of it in one solid pull. It did pull up 2 very small spots of paint so I'd keep the heat on it and just take your time. They run under the grey trim but it pulls out easy enough, the trim pops out a little but just snap it back down. Used goo b gone to clean up the residue adhesive and the whole process took me ~15 minutes to remove all 4.

Truck is less than 3 months old and you can already see more than half a dozen nicks and scratches on the edge where the OEM protector doesn't cover it. But the G-Tek ones will take care of that

You guys that are pealing the door sill stickers off either tape off the naked sills or leave the old ones on until you get these. Hang in there!

Well I pick them up from powder coat next Wednesday and will be shipping the test sets out on Thursday. From there we wait on what the rats have to say.

I'm sure everything will be satisfactory so I'm thinking Jan 2nd they'll be up for purchase.

That's not my intention what so ever..

I have this same product for the 2nd gen Tundras with great success so why would I fook it up now?

I'm waiting on the powder coater who provides the finished product and I certainly don't want to rush him.

Looking at -7 F in another day or 2, I had a very tight window so wanted to hit it while it existed. When the AC SP come in I want to make sure they fit and let you know ASAP. And also to verify that taking those OEM off was easy, at least around 32 deg. and above. Which they are :)

Although I've never had issues with the sills sticking in cold regions such as Canada, I have no problem adding an extra strip of 3M to each piece upon request for a few bux extra.

Each DSP comes with 3 strips normally. 2 on the deck and one on the vertical.

See if the 4runner sills are the same as the Tacomas.

A while back I found out the 2nd gen Sequoia sills are the same as the 2nd gen Tundra sills and ended up sending dsp's to a bunch of Sequoia owners over at TundraSolutions.

I can take a look at my moms door sills if you'd like. She has a 5th gen/2013 4Runner. I'm home for Christmas so both of our vehicles are sitting in the driveway. Or when you are ready to ship the test DSP's, I can double-check using the actual DSP. That way I can go off actual fit versus an eye-ball and measurement.
