    Whew! :) Nice work!

The new 2014 ACs will be 3" shorter from here out.

    Thanks!

So did you end up cutting 3" off the protector, or did you install it full length?

Any 2014 ACs with the same issue shoot me a pm if you would like a refund, or a replacement once they're in stock.

Looks like it's the 2014's that drop off like that. Try putting a rag on it and carefully hit it with a rubber mallet.

If you point a hair dryer under the edge with a gap so the hot air channels between the 3M strips you should be able to slowly lift the DSP without disturbing the adhesive strips. Just be patient and lift slowly you will hear the strips releasing.

You can then either modify them with a slight bend or cut them short and touch up the ends with some black touch up paint. If you cut them I would suggest using hack saw cutting across the entire flat surface area then file the corners a little..

Ok 2012 and 2013 AC guys I need pics of your sills taken like in these photos. I'm looking to find out what year Toyota started the little dip on the door sills near the center point of the front and rear doors.

First 2012 and 2013 AC will get 50% off.

Well, you know when you'll have mine :D

I'm sorry for you that this little hiccup has occurred, but I'm also glad I wasn't a total buffoon on my install work!

Thanks for being a great vendor and attacking this issue head on.

Thanks Bill looking forward to your pics.

I'm a little puzzled as to why Toyota did this to the Access Cab sills. Perhaps it's for water run off.

In the meantime I have plenty of Double Cab in diamond plate and non diamond plate carbide texture black ready to ship!

Ok so far I'm finding the 2013, 2014 and 2015 Access Cabs have the dip in the sills at the center where the doors meet. I'd like now to see sills on the 2010, 2011 and 2012 in an attempt to find what year this started.

    Thanks!
