I looked all over TW for reviews and opinions on which cover to go with. Ended up with the G4 Elite and so glad I did. Took a novice like myself a little while to put on and a little hielp from my neighbor but it's amazing how well it's held up to a rain storm and then me washing it with a pressure washer from about 5 feet away. Very little water in the truck bed. And I like the fact that I can access the bed from behind the cab instead of folding the entire cover back. Well worth the price IMHO.tonneau cover.jpg

Here's my buddy's solid Fold 2.0.... (his 3rd one)... Seems like they have a problem with bubbles forming in the sun... and they all have dents right from the factory where the 2nd fold rests on the front section... (mine has that and has not bubbled yet, but I'm thinkin' I'll send it back)..!!

    Other than that...I love it....

With a short warranty on it, I think I'll get another one..

That looks like a nice cover... If I can swing it, I'll go that way also.

Thanks to people posting their issues with the Extang, I went with the G4 Elite Fold-a-cover. Got it shipped for $795 all-in, and installed it myself. I love this cover in every way. One of my biggest concerns was keeping water out, and we've had some heavy rains and every time I check my bed is bone dry.

Watched an install video on utube and it appeared that the rear fasteners on the fold a cover deformed the plastic bed rail on the 2016 Tacoma. Did anyone run into this or was it just the camera angle?

Only thing that deformed where the latches are is the top itself. Tighten it too tight and when the cover heated up it would sag on top.Never any problems with the bed rails as long as there are some mounting brackets on it.

Guys I like that the new extang 2.0 uses my tailgate key. I hate carrying any more keys around than needed. Anyone have a pic of the key the G4 uses? Thanks
