Tank it is! That thing will get stuck in my front yard if you don't keep the momentum going!

I probably still have some cassette's if she would like to borrow them. I'm sure I have some old Hank or something to that would complete the package.

Thanks, I've been told he looks like me so I'm taking the credit haha. When she was pushing him out my arm was getting tired fanning her face but I didn't say nothing. She don't even know my struggles!

I have not! The whole town keeps talking about how dark it is going to get and warning me to keep busy and set an alarm to wake up! We are losing sunlight quickly. Today sunset is at 5:11pm. It is 4:18 and already feels like I should be cooking dinner and getting ready for bed. What's not going to help is this weekend with the time change. Sunday, our sunset is at 4:06 and I believe the earliest sunset is 3:10 in December.

Definitely going to be an adjustment. Already is since I'm kinda tired already. My boss brought in a "happy light" for me... You click it on a few times a day and it gives you some light stimulation that you lack otherwise. Luckily Haines is great about having events and gatherings and the people always want to do potlucks or something. Gonna suck for outdoor activities, but the Distillery is cool with me doing odd hours so I can enjoy the brief sun. They encourage it even.

Nice, at least there are activities and stuff to stay busy with. I remember my first winter in CO when it was only sunny during the workday. Sunrise at 8ish and sunset around 4pm. I was not a fan of it! But it is weird how your body is so reliant on the sunlight.

I didn't even think about the light/dark times in Alaska, although I did not plan much of the road trip. I think a friend mentioned it a week or so before I was planning on heading north. Thankfully I hit it during the sunny time.
