Did you ask them to wire up your lights too?

I am pretty sure he is working on breaking in the gears and all the torque he has now!

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I did have them install a couple more things while it was there ;) I bought so mouth crap last Black Friday, I am just now getting around to it going in.
They are putting in my Rock Lights and an Expedition Essentials TPAM. I put the Powertray and dual Bantams in.
By next week, the taco will be closer to complete. Trying to figure out what kinda camper I think should go on it.

Looking to find a Telescopic Light pole to hook up behind my cab on a hinge.
That way I can pull the light out and rotate it up about 8’ above the truck.
    anyone have ideas or links?

CBI makes this one. I just need to put a hinge mount on the bottom.

    Southern Offroad

My buddies weren’t going to able to help me until later and they only have one tech now. So it wasn’t gonna work.

Several places didn’t do gears. I found that Southern Offroad and 4WheelParts did the most gear installs on the regular.

I could tell it wasn’t ACC based on the background of your pics, and I thought you’d mentioned some other hiccups with them doing the work.

Good to see it’s all coming together for ya!

Quick question. About to install a Prinsu on my FJC. Does Lowe’s sell the Silicon I need to put in the bolt holes? I mean 100% silicon is silicon right. Lol

Yup it'll be in the paint aisles and you should be able to get it in a small squeeze tube.

Too bad you aren’t right around the corner. Bought this one last week to fix a leaking window and have close to a whole tube left.

That’s exactly what I just bought. That and another Screwdriver Bit set, those damn Thanksgiving deals!
I got 45 piece set for $9, basically for a 30T star but lol

Dewalt has been dropping the ball. They need a 90 degree hammer drill.

LOL @ You guys and your small tubes of silicon.

I've been trying to convince myself that I both need and shouldn't get that snorkel. For $255 right now, it's kind of hard not to...

Funny that you mention sound deadening. I bought some Shok Industries through someone on the forum. The stuff that I installed immediately is still holding on strong and I could notice a difference in where the sound was coming from. To be more specific on that last sentence, I installed it along the back wall immediately. It didn't quiet down the cab except that I could tell the sound was now coming from everywhere except the back wall.

I waited a few years to install it in the front doors and it was kind of hit or miss on the success of the install. The adhesive had gotten weak. I picked up a box of Noico from another member in TX who did not use all that he had purchased. I procrastinated installing that stuff too. So this week, I decided that I was finally going to install all of it. Well, the Shok Industries has pretty much separated itself from the adhesive and it would just slide off...kind of like breaking up chunks of ice on a sidewalk. So...that stuff pretty much turned to worthless. The Noico seems to be in good condition still. So to date, I've done the back wall in Shok Industries and the front 2 doors and the driver side rear with Noico. I spent a LOT of time last night pulling out the Shok Industries stuff that wasn't sticking very well (i.e. peeling back), cleaning the metal surface, and installing the Noico. I'll get to the last door tonight. I'm really hopeful that it makes a big difference.

    Lookin' good!
