Did you go in or call? Do they have your name/number?

If they have your info and you seem interested (and have seen the vehicle or test driven it to make sure you actually want it) they will likely follow up with you with some silly "sales manager is having a great day and said he'll drop it to $21.5k"

To which you say, it's higher than i want to spend, i still like it, but I'll think about it. Then wait for another call.

Hard shell is the way to go imho. Although it seems a little heavier than the chandlerdoom rtt i had, setup and pack up in max of 5 minutes can't be beat.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Been looking at some RTTs like these hard shells. Almost bought the new Tepui HS they came out with recently, found one slightly used.
Been looking at iKamper as well. Would be nice to have a hard shell on the trailer.

if they say they can do 23k, then they have much less in it. No place sells cars for under what they have invested. They wouldn't be in business long if that's the case. Don't play their games. Walk and wait. The luxury of not needing a vehicle right now means you have time to wait for the right one and the right price. Pressure is on them to sell you a car, not for you to buy one. You already have one plus a work vehicle. You can wait.

So dealerships actually do move cars for less than they pay...I know sounds odd.
One of my closest buddies use to run Toyota South, now he oversees all the Hennessy Dealrships.
He just brought a ‘17 TRD Pro T4R over two days ago for me to look at
that they have on the lot. He knows I am a sucker for a killer deal, and my gf is looking to get in a newer truck

Truck had 43k miles on it, and they would sell it to me for 36k, while they bought it at auction for 39k. I was looking at the actual database they get from the auction, so I saw the info. I said why so low for the Pro Bro? They hold their value.

He was telling me they have some sort of schedule/Algorithm they go by regarding depreciation. They just write it off as a loss is what I am saying, as they don’t want to tie up there money on a used car like that for whatever reason isn’t moving.
The Pro is the Barcelona Red, and he said if it were Calvary Blue or Black it would have been gone already.

Only reason we don’t own it, is that it was from Ohio! And the underside was rusty crusty from salt. Two-Three years in that shit will fuck some shit up I tell ya.

The chandlerdoom one was very similar to a one of the roofnest versions. The ikamper are neat as well. But having the hard shell was as game changing as adding the fridge/freezer. And if I was to get another, it would be hard shell or skip over soft shell for a ground tent/hammock.

You are right, I guess I should have said it's rare they do. The reason they would is b/c they can't sell it for what they paid. That means they over paid and at some point know they will take a loss.

So judging by your previous build, you went towards a nascar race truck style and lowered your truck also. If that was the case, I assume you are looking for a single cab v8 truck to do the same but you want power. If so, why look at 4wd trucks. Are there not any single cab v8 titans in 2wd? They will be cheaper and lighter, ie faster. I believe each truck you posted, were all 4wd.
    Just a thought.

I recently went for the very first time, doing a trolly tour was pretty fun. Got to see all the different squares, learn some history, and didn’t have to walk near as much. You can get on an off at different stops as much as you’d like. City market (I think?) was pretty cool. We got off and walked around for a while.

Day drink. No open container laws in Savannah. There are a bunch of bars/restaurants down by the river.

The three single cans I posted were all 4x4. There are no 2wd single cans for sale used in that range within 100miles of me
    you know it

Here's exactly what you want for a good price but it's 3 hrs away from Lilburn. Not a bad distance when you're making a purchase this large that you will have for a long time. I drove that far just for a camper shell. Certainly think you could get that one OTD for 20k. So if that's the case and your other options are in the 23k range, the drive is worth the savings for a truck you were really looking for. (I'm assuming you wanted a 2wd to making a street truck)
