You are right, I guess I should have said it's rare they do. The reason they would is b/c they can't sell it for what they paid. That means they over paid and at some point know they will take a loss.

So judging by your previous build, you went towards a nascar race truck style and lowered your truck also. If that was the case, I assume you are looking for a single cab v8 truck to do the same but you want power. If so, why look at 4wd trucks. Are there not any single cab v8 titans in 2wd? They will be cheaper and lighter, ie faster. I believe each truck you posted, were all 4wd.
    Just a thought.

I recently went for the very first time, doing a trolly tour was pretty fun. Got to see all the different squares, learn some history, and didn’t have to walk near as much. You can get on an off at different stops as much as you’d like. City market (I think?) was pretty cool. We got off and walked around for a while.

Day drink. No open container laws in Savannah. There are a bunch of bars/restaurants down by the river.

The three single cans I posted were all 4x4. There are no 2wd single cans for sale used in that range within 100miles of me

Here's exactly what you want for a good price but it's 3 hrs away from Lilburn. Not a bad distance when you're making a purchase this large that you will have for a long time. I drove that far just for a camper shell. Certainly think you could get that one OTD for 20k. So if that's the case and your other options are in the 23k range, the drive is worth the savings for a truck you were really looking for. (I'm assuming you wanted a 2wd to making a street truck)

I 2nd the Crab Shack as @Scott B. suggested. Get the Sampler Platter - it's for two and is really good.

Dealerships carry as much inventory as they can to move vehicles. That means their stock is usually bought on credit. This credit usually has 0 interest if they sell in a month. The longer they hold inventory, the more they pay in interest, the less their margin. Dealerships know this, and vehicles that sit - even if they don't sell - are a loss month to month, as they are both paying interest (usually 1% or so) AND they could be using that money on other stock that is selling faster. So dealers will sell at or below what they paid, it's just not too common.

My Taco was on the lot for over 6 months, so they sold it "below cost." The sticker was $38,736 on mine and I worked down to 34k out the door, which comes to 32k pre-tax for a DCLB 4x4 SR5. Even if it was below what they immediately paid for it, dealers get incentives from sale volume and end of year bonuses, so they still likely broke even or made a small profit on my sale.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

If it were what I was looking for and for the right price (if it will save you a few grand) then the drive should be worth it to you.
There are closer ones but they were 4x4. Which would you rather have? The 2wd or 4wd?

The distance to that truck is only like 230 miles and I did drive about that to get my shell in Huntsville, AL.

5.29 Nitros, by far the best upgrade I have done to this taco. Pulls like mule and doesn’t shift all over the place.

Best thing is it doesn’t downshift while going higher speeds when I hit a slope.
It will hold 5 and 6th now.

    Woohoo!
