Georgia takes great pride in their beaches and as far as I know, does not allow vehicles on any of their sands. Not sure on neighboring SC, but the closest place I'm aware of you can drive on the beach is Huguenot Memorial Park north of Jacksonville Beach/Mayport Naval Base

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

Welcome. I got here about 1.5 years ago from Fort Worth. The barbeque is better here, but the Mexican leaves a bit to be desired.

No clue on your questions. Just sayin' Howdy.

@Pizzasteve5717 was the other GA/TX transplant, but he apparently missed the Mexican too much :D

No experience with either of those. I just put on Toyo ATIIs and so far am very happy with them. Good traction, nice ride and low road noise. Plus they are a 65K tire.

Y’all tell me if I’m breaking any TW rules posting this (and the post I made about the CB radio deal) but... just trying to save my homies some money money...

Off Road Warehouse is having 10% off and free shipping (over $99) and free tax using LEAP20 promo code.

I just snagged some Total Chaos bed stiffeners for $25 (14%) less than the next cheapest place. And I’ve been shopping around for a while...

I put Continental Terrain Contacts on late last summer and they have been awesome so far. Not a super aggressive AT tire, but they haven’t let me down in some muddy slop and they have awesome street manners for an AT. Quiet, track true, quick steering response. I really like them.

Im trying to find an rear axle shaft for my ‘99 with ABS. I’m having a hard time finding any junk yards that are relatively close that have one. If anyone has a line on one it would be appreciated!

I just put on new shoes about two weeks ago. Can’t say about how they are off-road but I’m loving my Goodyear Wrangler Ultraterrains. Very quiet, smooth riding and pretty aggressive looking tire. If you’re interested they are a Discount Tire exclusive, very similar to the Duratracs. 50k tire.

I was interested in those but the bogo deal is with a different distributor and I love saving money any chance I can get.

    Welcome to Georgia!!

Only places I know for beach driving are Just a bit South of you on Amelia Island, Peter's Point is one (need a permit) and maybe a mile of beach that is allowed to drive on....and the state Park on the South end of the island...lots of people fish that one as it's the southern Inlet/Outlet lead in and out of Nassau Bay.

You guys had any luck using bed liner from a rattle can? or better alternative for sliders?
Trying to figure out best but cheapest textured solution for my little kids need to get good grip when stepping on/off the sliders...

Agreed. Griptape is a pretty easy option but if you're not paying attention to put your feet on the grip tape you'll scrape your leg pretty good. But it'll only take one time and you'll learn your lesson haha. Good practice to let passengers know this prior to getting out
