All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I think you just need to get your fix by watching the Italian Job a couple times. The euro cab is fun, but you will kick yourself later my friend ;)

It's pretty common to have members helping members here. I know this whole COVID-Economy has sucked for many.

My company sends company-wide emails whenever a new position is open (or an old one needs a new face). Would it be beneficial for us to start a "Georgia Job Bulletin" thread? This would not be a "Hey, I heard company X is hiring, maybe give them a look." but a place where we post jobs available at our current company or company of a friend?

That may be redundant and unnecessary since we all have access to LinkedIn, Indeed, monster, careerbuilder, etc.

I'm down with the idea not sure how to best implement. I work for a huge ass corporation so I could of never list all the jobs available, but I'm Def down to help anyone I can if they are looking and see an opening that is a good fit.

Anyone done the hood scoop vinyl that is listed on TW? Seem to hold up? It's rare but I got blinded as hell the other day and reminded me I got to do something about that. Could just go black but was thinking of some cool red and blue on my white hood 'Merica theme.

Get that hood super clean before you apply it. I will be interested to see your first round of good designs ;)

Very funny indeed. My buddy stopped by yesterday who works in Engineering supporting NBATV. Told me about another wave of layoffs. That place was fun while it lasted, but it taught me two things.
1). Don’t let anyone tell you what your time is worth.
2). The Assholes you know in HS grow up to be a bunch of middle management shit sticks that get in the way of real work getting done.
3). Be your own boss, to rely on someone else for stability is NOT stable.
4). If your good at what you do, chances are you will be way more successful without others holding you back, just to make money off you.

...and the list goes on. I got out of the rat race, and decided to simplify my life.

I am actually amazed they are still posting jobs. They literally hired like 7 people the same week they laid 158 us off. They brought us all into 1 big room. The first thing the NY lady said was, as of Aug 20th none of your services will be needed.
People belted out all kinds of shit like: I just sold my house in another state to take this job, and you firing me before I start?! Or how about the one girl who said Fuck This Place!!!

Dear lord I hated the glare I always got from the scoop on my early 2nd gen sport. Terrible design flaw by Toyota. Straight dangerously blinding.

The later 2nd gens, and obviously the 3rd gen, scoops look to be redesigned. Hopefully they addressed that safety issue.

Those horrid memories are partly why I wrapped the center of my 3rd gen hood. No scoop this time, but zero chances taken either.

Can't argue with any of it and thats an end goal for me as well but benefits are massive especially with kids and family is all I'm saying. We get a shitload of pto, insurance, 401k match, education paid for etc. It's different situation for everyone and that changes with life as well. When I looked at work life balance of doing my own thing still or going back to a large corp it's not really close as far as my skillset at least.

I have flat black 3M vinyl on my non-scoop hood. I got it from Crawlorado.

It's been on for about 4 years, and has held up great. It really helps reducing the glare/reflection off the hood.

And, I think it looks cool! :D

See, that's the thing, I'm sure many of us work at larger organizations and no way would you be able to post everything...nor would you want to...

So then it could be a "Hey, I'm looking for this type of work" anybody know of anything, but then who's going to check it regularly? In that case, it just becomes another thread that isn't very useful.

We could just have people post their company's job board, like you just did, and put a note to let you know if they are applying for anything. Maybe the person posting it (you in this case) could put in a referral to help their chances. Added benefit to you if your company does a referral bonus.

As for the hood scoop discussion, I quite like the reflection off my scoop. I'm probably the first person to say that, but the glare from the sun has only gotten me a handful of times. However, I seem to be the first person at the stop light pretty regularly. I can watch the traffic light without having to hunch forward. It feels weird if I drive a Tacoma that doesn't have one (BiL and SiL both have non-scooped tacos).

    I got it from @CBoy808
Just make sure you do a good job of cleaning before hand and squeeze that water out during wet application (card + microfiber works). It's suggested that two people out it on, but it's manageable yourself if you are willing to swear a couple times.
I've only had it a couple months but it's perfect, and has been looking better over time. I also plastidipped the scoop itself.

I wanted to attempt to wrap it myself If I can, that would have me under $100 and just my sanity.

Ill forsure get it qouted, this Can-Am is a money pit right now though.
I mainly wanted it gloss black to try to match the truck.

I will say I watched my buddy try and wrap his campershell and he hated the process. The top is easy (no rounded edges) once he got to the side he just quit and had a buddy paint it
