Dear lord I hated the glare I always got from the scoop on my early 2nd gen sport. Terrible design flaw by Toyota. Straight dangerously blinding.

The later 2nd gens, and obviously the 3rd gen, scoops look to be redesigned. Hopefully they addressed that safety issue.

Those horrid memories are partly why I wrapped the center of my 3rd gen hood. No scoop this time, but zero chances taken either.

Can't argue with any of it and thats an end goal for me as well but benefits are massive especially with kids and family is all I'm saying. We get a shitload of pto, insurance, 401k match, education paid for etc. It's different situation for everyone and that changes with life as well. When I looked at work life balance of doing my own thing still or going back to a large corp it's not really close as far as my skillset at least.

I have flat black 3M vinyl on my non-scoop hood. I got it from Crawlorado.

It's been on for about 4 years, and has held up great. It really helps reducing the glare/reflection off the hood.

And, I think it looks cool! :D

See, that's the thing, I'm sure many of us work at larger organizations and no way would you be able to post everything...nor would you want to...

So then it could be a "Hey, I'm looking for this type of work" anybody know of anything, but then who's going to check it regularly? In that case, it just becomes another thread that isn't very useful.

We could just have people post their company's job board, like you just did, and put a note to let you know if they are applying for anything. Maybe the person posting it (you in this case) could put in a referral to help their chances. Added benefit to you if your company does a referral bonus.

As for the hood scoop discussion, I quite like the reflection off my scoop. I'm probably the first person to say that, but the glare from the sun has only gotten me a handful of times. However, I seem to be the first person at the stop light pretty regularly. I can watch the traffic light without having to hunch forward. It feels weird if I drive a Tacoma that doesn't have one (BiL and SiL both have non-scooped tacos).

    I got it from @CBoy808
Just make sure you do a good job of cleaning before hand and squeeze that water out during wet application (card + microfiber works). It's suggested that two people out it on, but it's manageable yourself if you are willing to swear a couple times.
I've only had it a couple months but it's perfect, and has been looking better over time. I also plastidipped the scoop itself.

I wanted to attempt to wrap it myself If I can, that would have me under $100 and just my sanity.

Ill forsure get it qouted, this Can-Am is a money pit right now though.
I mainly wanted it gloss black to try to match the truck.

I will say I watched my buddy try and wrap his campershell and he hated the process. The top is easy (no rounded edges) once he got to the side he just quit and had a buddy paint it

:anonymous:Had the non rechargeable AA one for years. Wore out two holsters already & still tickin’ just fine. Considerin’ the places it’s been that’s pretty amazing. But then I could always say that about myself too.
