Is anyone in need of a Coleman 2 mantle propane lantern?

A family friend passed last month, and I was given the lantern. I have so many, and don't think I will use this one. I would much rather it go to someone who will use it, rather than sit on a shelf in my basement.

It is in good condition - not new, and not beat up. It is just waiting to go camping again.

Anyone got a Hi Lift they are wanting to part with for some $$. I'm in the market after doing my front brakes today and realizing the Bottle Jack ain't going to cut it. I had to place my floor jack on 2- 6x6 pressure treated wood and it was almost not enough. Thanks in Advance.

Thanks man....I was able to complete the job in the garage just didn't want to carry the floor jack in the back of the truck...that's why I was thinking a high lift jack would be a better solution for on the road travels. Thanks for your offer though... I really appreciate it.

I keep getting emails for $100 referral bonus for Capital One.

I know this time can be stressful for folks. If anyone is signing up for a credit card and decides to go with Capital One, let me know. I'll give you $90 of the referral if you have Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal.

Hey guys! Haven't posted in a while... IDK why, but I wanted to share some of my repairs in just the last 6 weeks. All this and still less expensive than payments on a brand stinkin' new one. LOL. I have an '06 DCLB TRD Sport with 135k and an '09 DCSB SR5 with 177k...

    On the '06:
    Oil, oil and air filters
    Front Brake Pads & Rotors
    Rear Brake Pads
    Brake Fluid Flush
Rear Axle Seals(Pass. appeared to be leaking from factory! It was dented upon removal.)
    Back-Up lights(did the 30w upgrade)

I did all these repairs myself and aside from the horseshoe clips on the rear brake shoes, they were all simple repairs. Even the axle seals.

    On the '09:
It has been a booger honestly...
    Oil, oil and air filters
Front Brakes- Pads, Rotors, & Calipers
    Brake Fluid Flush
'New' Wheel(Drove to Va and bought a used set from another TW member for $100. They were in decent enough shape)
    Torque Convertor
All 3 U Joints and Carrier Bearing(assembled and balanced by driveline shop)
Dash Lights behind the HVAC controls
    Back-Up Lights(also got the 30w upgrade)
Knock Sensor Wire Harness(This was an absolute nightmare of a job.... But did it for over $2000 less than Toyota would've charged. Cost me $35 and a Saturday)

I guess all this to say... Keep your 2nd Gens and 4.0's going! Most of this stuff you can do in the garage/driveway with minimal tools and TW write ups! I was seriously worried about the axle seal job and Knock sensor harness, but a few quick searches eased my mind and a couple youtube videos sealed the deal. I greatly appreciate this site for the necessary repairs and the wanted upgrades. Up next on both is courtesy/puddle and bed lights(wired into the dome, of course)! The '09 will need rear brake shoes soon, but no big deal. I'm already practiced on that!

Thanks to all of you that post your write ups and experiences!

    Pic for attn. :)

Which ones did you go with? I need to replace one of mine, but keep seeing conflicting info on which bulb to order so I just kind of forget about it...until I'm reminded.

also, I'm at over 160k on the OEM rear drums. I know those don't get use like the fronts, but I'd still be tempted to do them if someone knew what they were doing wanted to show me.

I need to do mine as well.

Drum brakes are not difficult - the axle makes it annoying, but nothing too difficult.

Are you off next week? There are 2 guys on here I am going to help tune their antennas as well.

Hopefully, next week will not be as hectic as the past couple have been...

I got a pair off Amazon... Then they shipped me 2 pair... I would offer them to you but I anticipate the flickering to start in my 06 any day now. LOL! I leave for work in the dark and am reminded daily. The tapping to light them up had to stop! I searched the part #90010-09017, then made sure it was compatible with my vehicle. The listing actually includes 'Compatible Dash Light for Tacoma' in the title.
As for your rear brakes, I'll help, they're not that difficult. We'll need to schedule a wrenching date. Im on the southside near Panola Mtn.

Yes. I'm off next week. We have a few things planned here and there. What day are you doing the antennas?

Nice! Looks like Olathe has the bulbs for $5.55 each, which is cheaper than Amazon. I can usually get Milton Martin to price match, or at least beat Olathe and Camelback's after shipping price.

I guess I'll start putting together a parts list for rear drums. I'm guessing this should be done before bleeding the brakes if I was planning on doing a fluid change anyway.

I've never done rear drums on a Tacoma but have on many Camaro's and Trans AM's Back in the day and my 2500 HD and MANY other cars.....Not hard at all...shout out if you need a hand since we are so close in proximity. Also need antenna tuned if that comes about.

EDIT: I just did my front discs yesterday! :D

The rears are not to bad, I hit some hard water that bent my gas tank shield over and made it rub my driveshaft. I thought it was a rear drum rubbing so I one of them apart to poke around

Haha! Had the same thing happen except a rock was pinned between the shield and tank pressing it against the driveshaft. I had to wedge the rock out immediately. It made a horrible grinding that was felt. There wasnt any waiting til later! Lol

Yeah it seemed like someone would do as a joke. Almost making fun of the overlander. Here's are the stuff you supposedly need to go camping on a tacoma bed.
