I think there is something in the water at the cove that eats at the copper because on my trip there 3-4 rigs had starter issues.

Well actually would anybody be willing on letting me rent their Roof top tent for 2-3 nights? Would actually help me get a decision on buying one or not too :p

Dang man. Glad you are ok. Those pieces are all easily repairable, so I wouldn't anticipate you having any issues further down the road.

JB is your guy, though I think he is charging $100+ per night and a pretty hefty cleaning fee for any "questionable" stains. :puke:

How deep did the F250 get into the cabin area on that highlander? Can't tell if the cabin space is fully in tact or if the 250 deformed it.

Pretty far.... She's lucky she didn't have a passenger at least their legs would have been screwed the passenger seat was like twisted into the center console. She had two car seats in the backseat too freaked me out for a min after I made sure hunter was ok the pool guys and I thought there were kids inside. Not sure what was up with that lady she seemed out of it.

I had a scare one time on 29 / 316. I was heading to work and doing like 65+. Some Mexicans in a small single cab Frontier pulled out in front of me. My reaction was to switch lanes and quickly. I was what-felt-lke-inches from plowing my ARB bumper at head level into the driver's door. My adrenaline was racing and they seemed absolutely clueless. I don't think I've ever been so happy to have an empty lane next to me.

Dang.. At least kids we'rent in the car with you hopefully that's the biggest thing that scared me. It didn't end up being that bad thanks to the truck he locked up his brakes and slowed way down before he hit the highlander into me. Also I'm lucky I was all the way the turn lane so they both had to slide like 15 more ft to hit me. All I saw was smoke from her engine bay and I couldn't get out my drivers side door. Jumped out and got my kid out and calmed down enough not to freak him out. 316 is terrible my bro and dad drive it in from east gwinette and they see bad wrecks all the time.

Wow glad you and yours are okay. Props to the f-550 for getting stopped enough to not completely run right through that Toyota. That's a lot of truck to have to stop quickly.

Hoping that someone here might be able to help me or guide me to the right direction to find this info out. So I went to Texas a few months back and while in town picked up a set of sliders from another member who lives there. I helped him take it off his truck, and when we went to put the bolts on for mine, we noticed the holes down line up. We both had 2016+ Double cab short bed OR models, and he did tell me he had to drill 2 holes on each side of the frame for his truck when we saw that. Either way, it's not something I wanna try and get installed on my truck anymore, and want to sell them. Is there anyway I can go about figuring out what they fit on? I don't wanna be a dick and just claim they're for a certain truck and screw the next guy over like this guy did with me. The length is perfect with the cab, and would work perfectly just don't line up mounting wise for the holes on the frame, so maybe for a 2nd gen only? I'm honestly not sure, any help is appreciated.

You're more than welcome to stop by with them at my house to see if there are any holes that line up on my frame to see if they fit a 2nd gen. If it were me, I'd just have a 3rd mounting bar added and have them welded to my frame as weld on sliders.

That's what Cory suggested as well as an option, and thought about it but then I'd have to get them cut off really clean if I ever switched up. I'm still debating that option honestly, but would rather sell em if I can get them identified. I might swing by if I get some time next week. I know you're a busy man too rn lol, plus we'd have to take yours off too

I dont think we would have to remove mine. We would just see where yours mount and see if theres a hole there where the mount would go on my frame. Shouldn't be too hard. I think mine used pretty much all the available premade holes in my frame anyways so if where yours go, theres already a bolt there then thats our answer.
