Got in a minor accident yesterday, didn't notice anything damaged but just check this morning and my driver side leaf hanger is bent :anonymous:
Soooooo what would y'all recommend BAMF or archive garage hangers? Any of y'all even running aftermarket hangers? Lol

I took my sway bar off for one day when I first lifted my truck. Left my office and made a right hand turn. Truck felt very "jumpy" as in the front end felt like it was bouncing through the turn. It left me very uneasy and a relocate bracket was ordered as soon as I got home. Swaybar is back on and I've never regretted having it installed.

    Hammer Hangers.

I've been running them for about 2 months - I should have been running them for the last 5 years.

Worth every penny, and then some. Toyota should have used a similar design, instead of the cheap thing they did...

Sounds like it's better set up than a Jeep with SBDs. Longer wheelbase helps.

    Never again.

I had a strong feeling you didn't have one on your truck, it felt real nice and smooth on turns, but I was taking them pretty slow since you had way more weight in your truck. After that huge turn we made in your truck having to make a U-turn on that exit one night, I can tell it's more about the driver and how well they can manage it lol

I'm still gonna take mine off and see how it is today, if it leans in too far for me to feel comfortable and safe, I'm gonna order the relocation.

I didn't have a front sway bar on my solid axle 4runenr after I did the swap and that thing sat HIGH. 5 inch springs in the front on 35's. It would definitely make you change the way you take corners on exit ramps.
I don't think you will have issues with it removed with the Tacoma's suspension but I also don't think there's much point to removing it unless you need that extra front end travel that the sway bar hinders. Unless you are just shaving weight and trying to cut lbs anywhere you can.

After I installed those beefy Maxtrac spindles, there's barely any space between the sway bar and my springs. So if I'm turning and the spring is compressed then it hits and makes a significant sound. I usually only have the issue over speedbumps sometimes, but was having some problems on a trail I went on a few weeks back too. I wish they had a quick disconnect for it, cause then I'd just take it out everytime I go offroad, but I guess a relocation might do

Well just remove it, drive for a month and see how you like it. I can't image it will make too much of a difference even though you are lifted pretty high up there. Just be more aware of your speed on curves and exit ramps.

Not your style. I'll be interested to know your thoughts after a few months of ownership.

Edit: or maybe you'll be the first BMW X series with a Prinsu.

Anyone have experience with moving violations? Specifically talking on the phone while driving?

My wife just got a ticket for being on her phone (at a stoplight) and apparently that adds a point to your license/record. Recommendations on how to handle it?

happened to me. Go to court on the ticket date. Get in line. They will ask you if you are there to plead guilty and pay the fine. Say no. You will then go sit down and wait to talk to the the person to someone else. This person will ask you what happened. This is not the judge. Tell them what happened and they will reduce your ticket to a simple moving violation and make yo pay the $50 fine but it come with no points. Then you will go before the judge with your new violation and plead guilty to that. Pay fine and leave. This was my experience at least.

Is this the same violation from the law they put in place like 2 years ago? If so all you need to do is bring to court one of those mounts for your phone and they dismiss the whole thing, no points & no fee. Happened to me last year and it worked for me.
