Man I have buddies that sold thier Warn winches and bought some of the newer generation Harbor freight Badlands winches - the reviews and amount of people changing to them are phenomenal! Don't hate on them too much, I can see them going up in price soon unfortunately.

I've never heard of anyone getting rid of a Warn to get a Badlands, but I have heard good things about the Badland.

I just thought it was funny that someone would spend all that money and then buy one of the cheaper options for the winch.

    LOL.

You mean like the fact that I bought a Toyota and tried to replace failed parts with Dorman that ultimately failed WAY sooner than the OEM parts did? Yeah...I'm slowly replacing the Dorman (or similar) crap with OEM as it fails.

Just passing along some information. I ordered one of these for my garage because I had the old contractor globes in the garage. (Very dull and dim) And WOW what a difference even on the middle of the day! This thing is crazy bright and at night forget about it! If you work out of your garage at all this is a must have for $14.09

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
That’s what makes a Toyota a Toyota. It’s the little things. This is where the US market falls way behind, I mean hell the motors run for awhile. Unfortunately your AC, Water Pump, or Windo motors will go in less than 12k miles now.

I’ll throw a couple of these on the registry, thanks for the heads up. I’ve always wondered how these things did. We have “100W Equivalent” leds in there now, but you can never have too much light in the garage.

And yes that's a four wheel camper in the background if anyone is interested. It's cheap right now!

They have something similar at Costco, may pick them up there since the return policy is quite good there
