All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Looks like a nice place to put that RotoPax :)
Like I said before, I am impressed how quickly you picked up fab work.

Don’t forget magnets and a grill light!
While your at it, plumb a 15gal tank under the rear where the spare was with a little pump and quick disconnect nozzle :)

He loves her. Loves helping and "holding" her.
For the most part we sleep pretty well but sometimes it's a no go. Last night she woke up at 2 and didn't go back to sleep until 4. Then at 5:30am my 2 yo woke up bc he's pee'd out of the diaper so had to change him and change the sheets on his bed and get him back to sleep. Grand ole time but they are both a hoot and wouldn't trade it for the world.

The more I look at it, the more I don't like it right there. I'd like to move it to the back, but it will depend on if it's ok to run the cord under the roof weatherstrip, the first layer.

There are some mounts to put it on the hood out in front of your ditch lights. Might not be an option you’d like, just an option.

Yeah, I was hoping to get the benefit of better reception by using the roof, but if I can't route the cable like I like, that may be what I do.

Also, anyone have a SWR meter I could borrow for an afternoon? Or, even better, does anyone local sell one?

used to have one but it got destroyed during wheeling trips. Best bet is to buy one on Amazon if nobody has one, then whore it out to people since you usually need it once or twice

Don’t know where you’re located, but there’s a Carquest in Winder that supposedly still stocks CB parts/equipment.

The Expedition Overland guys had a propane tank converted to air compressor tank mounted under their 1st gen. You could also do something like that.
