My October is somewhat booked. November looks good.

I would like to run the Georgia Traverse in November as well. Anyone else interested?

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Put new leaf springs on the trailer, due to one snapping. Trailer is sitting and riding much better now ;)

Anyone in the auto repair business? Wondering how much a full
3rd gen bed/tailgate would bring on the used market.

Asking for a friend….that friend is me

Are you doing a bed delete? Building a flat bed? A camper? I'm very interested in photos if so. Haha

I don’t know the cost, but I bought a replacement from a guy on FB market place for 100 bucks, he even through in his taillights. But I’d say 2-300 would seem fair. All depends on if you want premium pricing or just want to unload something that takes up space.

Yea kinda sorta all of the above. Not building though. Wish I had the skill set and time. And also more so dreaming. See the link I posted above.
Wow. Thanks for the feedback. Can’t even pretend to not be disappointed in hearing that though.

I was hoping at least a couple hundred just for the tailgate. Was hoping the bed and side panels might pull at least $1k. Guess my head was I the clouds and my hopes of recouping any money are unfounded.

Considering having only one bedside replaced and painted can cost north of 2k, I have no doubt you could pull 1k for a complete bed with all the associated parts. Might be waiting a while, but whatever! Sell it with the camper shell for 3k. Post on eBay and FB marketplace. Talk about a sweet trailer opportunity.

I had an awesome week. Saw the following bands in this order:
311, Willie Nelson (Outlaw Festival), Eric Clapton and Amos Lee

Have any of you guys dealt with the issues of your AC blower only working on high? I've clicked through a couple of threads, but I'm not sure where the whole burnt plug/resistor is supposed to be. Some pics make it look like it's behind the glove box, others make it look like it's behind the AC controls in the dash.

Look underneath the glovebox/passenger side dash panel, it’s right there in the upper footwell. Like if you’re sitting in the passenger seat, you can just about kick it with your left foot.

Right near the blower motor housing.

Okay, good deal. Thank you! So the plug and resistor that can go bad are all located there? If I don't have to take apart the dash to get to any of this stuff that will be wonderful.

Yep, should all be there, no disassembly required for the resistor other than the two easily seen screws holding it in. It’s a flat 4-pin connector if I remember right.

    Yes. Just went through that.

If it only works on high, the issue is your resistor or the plug connecting the resistor. I thought that was my issue, so I replaced the plug and resistor. Turned out that wasn't my issue. So I have a perfectly good plug and resistor if you want.

As for location, it is right where the carpet line ends under the dash.

Here's where I start documenting my saga. upload_2021-9-27_10-26-50.jpg

Resistor and connector are circled in red.

Also check the connector circled in blue. This picture was taken after both connectors were replaced in my truck. No disassembly for access required.

Thank you guys so much! Going to dig into this this week and do some testing. Friday was fine. Nothing worked except for MAX on Saturday. Sunday it started back working mostly fine again, I think. So it's intermittent, but I want to go ahead and fix before it completely fails. Read through your thread @CowboyTaco got all the points of failure on a list to check.

Thanks again. I'll report back in a day or two when I've had time to do some investigating.
