All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Anyone looking for a job or know someone who is?

    Landscape Maintenance - $25hr
Must be able to drive a truck, mow, edge, trim hedges and use a blower. That’s about it.
    Each day is about 9-2.

Pass the word around my peeps!

Not sure if there are any runners here. If anyone is interested in running the Peachtree City Classic 5/15K, my work is extending a small discount on registration to friends and family. Send me a PM for the code if interested.

If you see me running, you better run too.. Preferably faster than me if you value your life.

That being said, I very recently started running in the mornings before work 3-4 days a week; I hate it... but its definitely helping with some "gettin fat" and some general back pains. Props to any of you guys who run for fun; it absolutely sucks...

I wouldn’t classify myself as a runner honestly. At least not road. I hate pavement pounding. More of a trail guy.

Good on ya for getting out and there. This country is riddled with fat and lazy habits. It’s tragic to see so many young children crippled my health issues that could have been easily avoided. I won’t soap box the issue…

Trail runners are an extremely special type of crazy. I don't know how you do it. Obviously practice, proper footwear, and years of muscle strength, but geez - I'd brake an ankle so fast..

I'm definitely no nutrition major or gym rat. Just a guy that loves to eat I suppose. After trying a couple life changes with food/diets, and failing miserably, I decided I'd get a little more active to lose just a little weight, but ultimately to just sustain my current shape and not put on much more weight. Basically, just run a few mornings each week to keep my chocolates and not be out of breath when hunting season rolls around lol.

If you have the time/interest, I would HIGHLY suggest giving trail running a go. While it might seem intimidating due to the varying terrains, that is actually its true superiority to road. The change in terrain and 'softer' soil underfoot is better on your joints long term and will train your fast twitch muscles and instincts far better than a road run will ever do.

My old man is 81y/o and still runs a few miles 3-5 days a week, all trail.
Its a state of mind. Speed is obviously fun. But simply moving through the woods almost silent allows you to experience things nature normally wouldn't show you when it knew you were there. Think of it like watching all the stuff you see when hunting, but in fast forward, and you're getting some exercise in.

If I had land with some trails super close by, I'd definitely try it. Trails through woods are a little rare where I'm at though, unless I wanna be dodging landowner's bullets lol.

I love trail running too. It brings me back to our roots. Like chasing an animal for food. It gets my adrenaline pumping. One of the best feelings. I love driving up tray mountain to that spot where all the roads meet, parking, and then running the AT trail up to the top and over the other side.

If you don't mind sharing, where are you located? There are plenty of county/state parks that have green ways and mild trails that are a good intro.
Couldn't agree more. I haven’t been putting many trail (on foot) miles in over that past few years. My free time focus has been solely on MTB, with the little free time I have these days.

If you like running up that way, check out the Bartram Trail. Being from Rabun Co. I'm a bit partial to certain sections. My all-time fav stretch of trail to run in the area would have to be from Rabun Bald down to Warwoman dell. Its a mandatory shuttle run, but so much fun. You can get shorter sample by coming in/out of Pinnacle Knob/Courthouse Gap.

For sure, I have multiple parks within a 40-50 minute drive in nearly all directions from me; I just wouldn't plan to do that before work every day lol. I'll have to give it a shot on a weekend sometime, but I'm gonna work for another few months at least getting my stamina and lung power up, to make a trip like that more enjoyable and worth it.

I cant even properly walk off my front porch, stepped on a hickory nut which made me roll my ankle and fractured my foot. Its healing well but walking on uneven terrain is scary for me right now. Some of my favorite cross country events in highschool were in the woods though.

Wait is this trail running? I'd more than happily run that every day! I guess the only experience I have with trail runners is encountering them running UP downhill black rated MTB trails, through jagged rocks/roots/etc. Thats why I always thought they were a special kind of crazy. If that pic counts as trail running, sign me up! It actually looks smoother than some of my neighborhood sidewalks

Can I get some truck advice? I'm going to have to do a cab mount chop to fit my 285 75 16 with the -25 off set wheel. The more I'm reading it seems getting after market control arms may may the rub worse than it already is. I found a good deal on here for sale it's a used set of camburg arms that I was thinking about getting. I'm just not sure if it will improve anything I have going on. To clarify I have a popping metal on metal noise when turning sharp. I haven't had someone else turn the wheel so I can look but I think it may be either the oem control arm on the spring or the sway bar binding. I've read lots of forums and watched lots of videos. Just was hoping someone could guide me in the right direction.
