I actually enjoy planting trees. I grew up in south GA. planted acres of pine trees for my uncle. It was cool to see how fast they grew. We kind of grew up together. The ones I planted as a kid was harvested as I became an adult.

Anybody got a line on some firewood?

We're building a back porch with a wood burning fireplace. I've got some that I cut up when clearing trees 2 years ago, but I'm burning through it pretty quick. I'm thinking it'll be gone before end of year.

More looking for downed trees that need to be cleared as opposed to cords for sale.

I have a friend who just cut down multiple trees that need to be cut up. He's located in Lexington GA. He wouldn't mind you going over and taking all you want. I can ride with you over there too. I plan on getting some of it

I think they are a type of oak and sweet gum. I was there helping him bring them down a couple weekends ago.

There's a place near me that has a sign for free fire wood. Not sure if you have to cut and split it your self. Sign is always there. Not sure what the deal is but I can get the number for you. But it's in Lilburn, so not sure if that's too far for you.
