Any suggestions for reasonably priced, low maintenance aftermarket UCAs? Not SPC.

Ball joint prefered over uniballs. Billet kinetic arms are not needed. Do not suggest SPC.

    Top of my list include:
Dirt King (tubular ball joint style)
    Icon tubular (Delta joint)
    Bilstein or OME tubular
Possibly JBA (not sure if the High caster or HD high caster is warranted)

I have JBA and the big appeal for me was ease of replacing the ball joint without having to take the arm off and its only 4 bolts.

I've run them since 2015 - no issues, high quality, swapable ball joint.

That is an appealing feature for sure. I’d have to paint them…I really hate that red. It’s taken me nearly 7 years to finally not cringe every time I look at the red springs on my current coilovers

Was kinda looking forward to getting rid the red in the wheel well. Not sure I like the silver coils coming much better though :annoyed:

Good call. Those looks pretty similar to the Dirt Kings. Are they poly bushings?

Pricing may end up being my finally decision maker if all else is equal-ish.

    Yes, with grease fittings.

I've changed the ball joints once - not difficult to do.

I don't know anything about this company but reading the information on them they seem to be a good product. I'm thinking about going this route.

Pretty sure if the ball joint needs to be replaced you can also buy the moog one from a 90's 3/4 ton chevy for $32 off Amazon and swap it in in about 10 mins and be back in biz.

If you notice it's the 4runner part number that's on backorder. I called and they have the tacoma arms in stock. What I liked about these is the mounting bushings. The dirt kings bushings have to be greased regularly and are prone to squeak. Where as these arms are greaseless and maitence free on those bushings. Also they told me you can replace the ball joint with an aftermarket balljoint from napa for instance if needed.

Nope didn’t catch that detail! I’ll have to look into those further.

I pulled the trigger and ordered them. This discount code still works. I paid $405. Plus free shipping. So we will see how these go.

I’ll be eager to hear your thoughts on them.

Fortunately I don’t need UCA due to anything failing. Just stumbled on a suspension deal I couldn’t pass on. Downside is the ‘upgrade’ mandates aftermarket uppers :(

    @banditcamp
I don’t have it in hand yet. My dad actually drove to meet the seller for me. I’ll be getting it in hand this weekend.
